PC Engine Duo bit
« on: November 28, 2014, 04:55:22 AM »
I bought a bit off ebay that specifically said it worked with Duos, but it doesn't. I'm not sure if that's because Turbo Duos and PC Engine Duos need different bits or they just flat out were lying, but I don't think I want to chance another buy off some random seller on ebay or Amazon. Does anyone here have one they could sell me?

If I'm not mistaken, PC Engine Duos all use T-10 security torx bits.  Pretty easy to find in hardware or electronics stores.  Just make sure they have the little holes in the middle of the bits.
US Turbo Duos need a Gamebit driver.  For those, I really like this set from Amazon

Yeah, the bits can be bought locally from a hardware store. Menards has them for like $3

It is possible, that someone has been inside your machine and then put different screws in it.  I have had a few, that were modded, and then had non oem screws put back into it.
