Pretty decent article about how a dad decided to teach his son about classic video games before he was exposed to modern day gaming. Except he left out proper obeying.

Ha! My daughter REALLY got into video games with Galaxian! Then Galaga. My cousin has a Galaxian cab and she and I played it for hours (we neglected other human beings, which wasn't the best lesson).

I didn't force her to play stuff in chronological order, though. But I did keep her grounded in, mostly, 80's and early 90's arcade/console games.

She totally appreciates the old stuff.
