Excellent PC Engine FAQ (Japanese)

It has things like a complete ACD list, controler list (including 3rd party), hardware list with original prices, power supply ratings, six button copmatability guide, etc.

Did you know the HuC6280 was nicknamed, "Dr. Pepper"?

Awesome stuff.

I came across some source code left on some cd-rom titles and wondered what the heck "7up" was doing in there as a label. Now I know. Thanks!

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

yeah..watarus old page is a legend in the net. unfortunatelly he's over with it and didn't update since almost 4 years now!

also the legendary offline meetings looked like they had a lot of fun. i liked to join there once, but it's over now..all over

the "all hardware list" is still available and really helpful http://www6.airnet.ne.jp/wataru/pce/pc_hard.htm

I thought I saw, years ago, part of PCE Maniax where they stacked a Mega Drive with every peripheral they could find to see if they all worked together. A PAR, an Xband, a Game Genie, Mega CD, a 32X, Sega Channel, Sonic and Knuckes with Sonic 3, etc until it was 2 feet high. It did work in fact, and I'm amazed the power cables didn't melt from all the current.

Maybe this was someone elses site.

I've seen similar pics before, but I don't think I've ever seen a setup with quite that many stacked carts.
