I love cars. Current Mobil is a Vauxhall insignia 1.8 140bhp. You chaps may know it as a buick regal.
I love to read but cant seem to make time these days. My favourite authors are garrison keillor and bill bryson. Also michael palin. When I'm not working I'm basically a house husband.
I love listening to computer game music and BBC radio dramas. I don't really like television except for Sci fi type stuff. Just got x files box set and attempting to plough through that.
Comrade, have you had a chance to watch Blakes 7? I have wanted to rewatch it for years...I have rotting VHS tapes somewhere (random episodes) that I should probably unearth.
ill be honest I've never given it a chance. I'm not a terry nation fan. Cant stand Dr who. Though I remember my dad always raved about blakes 7. Maybe ill give it a shot.
Well, it's not everyone's cup of tea, but Blakes 7 different than Dr. Who (group dynamics). Here in the States, 1-2 local public television stations aired every season of Blakes 7, so I loved it (very few options for a family without cable television in the 80's). These stations also played every episode of Danger Man (re-titled "Secret Agent Man" over here) and The Prisoner.
Anyway, Blakes 7 has a slow start, but it might worm its way into your heart after a few episodes. Needless to say, I think it is an underappreciated gem (even the weaker later seasons, with cast changes are fun).
Since it didn't air on many stations here, it doesn't have much of a fan base in the U.S. To date, the best conversations about Blakes 7 have been with my brothers and my dad. Ha!
