Pretty much, except that it doesn't have a built-in rechargeable battery back and does run on regular batteries. It does however work with an IFU the same way regular core units do.

The screen was amazing for the time.

I have an LT but I don't recall there being a battery compartment since I was always envious of people that made rechargeable battery packs for theirs to play on the go while I was stuck playing mine near an electrical outlet.

Could the LT use either the GT Power Pack or Duo Battery?

Maybe, I'd have one of the experts weigh in on it first. I know that it can run on a Lego battery pack.

I just want to let everyone who bought stuff know that everything that has been paid for has been mailed out, but I won't have time to PM tracking numbers until tomorrow evening.
