Valkyrie no densetsu glitch

Putting this out there incase anyone has a solution. I've acquired a copy of said game but cant get further than the title screen before it stops and freezes. I have cleaned the contacts and verified all my other cards still work fine. Also on occasions of trying it has drawn four seperate screens. Something ive never seen in a video game before. Any suggestions or is it my worst fear and the card is a goner.

This is the same exact thing that happened to me with my copy of World Court Tennis (US)!!!

You get the four screens and super fast music!

That's actually a cheat in Space Harrier.

It's the PC Engine being future proof by being compatible with 4D TVs that will be released in 2032.

Tried it without le tap. No change.  Still freezes at same point on title screen as soon as the little character strikes the title with her sword :/

try cleaning the pins with isopropyl alcohol

I've already tried alcohol. I think ill give up. Might have it as a nice key ring.

Here's a new one to try:
Put a small strip of scotch tape on the back side of the card, along the edge which inserts into the slot.

It is possible that one of the pins of the card-edge isn't making sufficient contact with its corresponding pin; the additional thickness (even a fraction of a millimeter) may help.
