My game room overview
« on: February 07, 2015, 04:07:55 AM »
Here is a temporary set up of my game room in the house we bought recently. It's a work in progress, but it is functional as is for now.

Is that a 32" Trinitron?  I got the 27" little brother that weighs in at about 110 lbs.  I had to carry it up stairs to get to my game room.  I certainly wouldn't want to move it again; I can only imagine that feeling  with a 200 lbs tv.

I left my comment with the video.

I AM GLAD YOU ARE BACK. I am totally envious of the gaming room. My 3 kids leave me with no private space. I get a little corner desk for my laptop these days and a cup of coffee these days. :)

Good luck!

Also, your choice of Dragon Slayer music was quite nice.

It's a 36" Triniton.  I could not lift it by myself, and it was difficult with 2 grown men.  I am by no means a small guy, and I am telling you...this bitch is HEAVY!  I say 200 pounds, but I am sure its more than that.

WOW!! 36" CRT bliss.  Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it was over 200 lbs.

On a 36" you must be able to fit your fist in the scan lines. JK I love the Trinitron scanlines.

Ya sony pretty much gives up on tight scan lines after 27". I had a 32" sony and it was a beast but got a smaller one to replace it. I gave it away this past week and it took 2 of us to go chuck it on my driveway.

Nice setup.
You need an Xbox of some type in there though.

My Duo story is pretty similar to yours. Got it on ebay, seller said it had sound issues but it just needed very minor tweaks. Paid right around what you did too.

I like that Dragon Slayer was on in the background. Made your video that much more mystical to watch

My Xbox 360 is hooked up to our main TV upstairs.  I use it for media streaming and gaming.  Downstairs is retro only.

I have a ps3 in the living room. Which has basically evolved into just a Minecraft box / blu ray player. Haven't bought a new game in over a year.
WiiU is set up in my son's room.
Turbo is set up in my room.
We do have a spare room that I was planning to set up as a games room but now we have a new arrival I've had to concede defeat. Need a bigger house!
