Awesome, Unreal and Cry I am familiar with for personal work, and I've worked a lot with Unity at my last job where we used it to ship a big budget IOS game for Zynga. Thanks for the info, the investigation begins!

I do primarily data-warehouse development - tons of SQL, SSIS and C# code. With the occasional foray into Tableau/SSRS/whatever-flavor-of-the-month-reporting-tool-client-wants.

In a past life I was a front-end web developer full-time, but with each passing year I'm losing interest in it and don't miss it terribly.

I've worked in software development primarily in modeling and simulation of attacks on physical security systems for the past decade. Sadly things have gone from pretty bad to desperate at the company I've been with since college. :( In the past couple weeks we lost the majority of our workforce to layoffs and "involuntary furlough". I don't think this job will last another couple months, so I'm on the hunt. Evo or whoever was looking forward to taking advantage of people in a shitty situation, stand by.

sounds a lot like me, man. I've been in biometric forensics software most of my adult life, but things are looking shaky. Interviewing with a railroad company next week. Anywho, if things go to shit, sell me your rarez for cheap. f*ck that evo guy!

This man is obsessed with ME!   That wasn't even provoked!  Sorry to hear about the job situation but maybe if you spend less time obsessing about me and running a failed website you could focus more on your career hmmmm?

As mentioned before I work for a Defense Contractor as a Financial Analyst down in Virginia.  We help support the on going operations in Afghanistan and Iraq in terms of men, logistics, technology, communications.  I simply handle the Government contracts financially and source outside contractors.  It's as boring as it sounds.

reading is hard. I went ahead and shortened the quotes for you. Now stop stalking my posts and break out that vacuum cleaner for once.

Why don't you get on your hands and knees and scrub the shit out of your basement?

I'm in the automotive testing business, a 3rd party. Running engines and transmissions on a stand. Occasionally its pretty exciting, usually its super boring, but that's any job.

Ever blow any up?  Do you cycle the engines or got WOT or just pick a static RPM and keep it locked there?

Cool job.😃

I work too much for too little money in my chosen field, but not at the level of my education. That's about as far down that rabbit hole as I want to go.
