Watching now, will give opinions after...

Game Gear is a pass, it did allright along with Master System, they did ok'ish
NeoGeo is appreciated just freaking expensive...bakc then and even Today
I agree about the Lynx, system is awesome.
Virtual Boy, lol
3DO again like the Neo in price, just not as loved today.
TG16, well yeah you know...Blazing Lasers not Blazing Star error error
Coleco, I can agree
Gamecube, overlooked in it's day totes awesome system
Poor Saturn only get's an Honorable mention, poor Sega...
Dreamcast right where it should be...

The 3DO wasn't like the Neo Geo in price. The internet likes to say that it launched at a higher price than it actually did. In arrived in my hometown at the same price that the Turbo-CD did.

But again, the internet keeps saying that the AES system was outrageously expensive and that's what kept regular people from owning it and PCE haters like to write off the Duo for being "as expensive as the Neo Geo without the performance".

But it wasn't the price of the hardware that made the AES not worthwhile, it was the games. Bitd you could buy a Turbo-CD combo, kisado, Arcade Card Pro and WH2 for less than the price of an AES system and possibly for just the price of WH2 AES. But then you had a solid library of 700 affordable games with great variety.

3DO games were affordable, which is why the price of the hardware us irrelevant. But we should only be judging the "ratedness" of console libraries by their content today anyway.

I worked in retail (EB Games and later GameFan) during t pretty much the whole 16/32bit console cycle and the 3DO launched at $699 Which is more than NeoGeo was going for at the time, even with bundled games.

It didn't stay at that point very long but that was it's starting point.

I feel gamecube is very overrated these days. It was average compared to the ps2. I think it's just nostalgia for melee.

At least the n64 had incredible 1st party and 2nd party, and many times the better version of games. Nintendo's gamecube counterparts were worse, and they lost Rare, factor 5 and left field.

Did he say that the TG16 wasn't truly 16-Bit but had two 8 bit processors?  That's funny.

What are you talking about?  Rougue Leader & Metroid Primes are amazing games.  The GameCube may not have as expansive a library as the PS2, but I definitely wouldn't say the N64 was at all better.
Play Turbografx.
Play the Turbografx. PLAY
THE TURBOGRAFX!!!!!!

Buh buh buh, I have almost all teh games evar.  I R TEH BESTEST COLLECTR!!

To be honest, excepting a few exceptional games, the N64 library is completely awful. The Gamecube library is much better than the N64's.

If you get a PS2, there's only a few reasons to get a GameCube: Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Lost Kingdoms, Zelda. Not even its Mario game was good.

Bullshit, outside wonky camera a few time Sunshine is a blast to play...
Also you forgot:
Baten Kaitos
Killer 7/Viewtiful Joe/ Res Evil IV (superior versions all of them)
F-Zero GX
Fire Emblem
Super Monkey Ball (Don't let Joe see this)
Batallion Wars
Rouge Leader
Chibi Robo

f*ck the list goes on, PS2 is fine but it's not a GC replacement by any means what so ever.

Fire Emblem on the Gamecube is one of my favourite Fire Emblems, and Sunshine gets a lot of flack it doesn't deserve. Tales of Symphonia was only available in English on the Gamecube, Baten Kaitos was awesome, Pikmin 1 & 2, Luigi's Mansion, Doshin the Giant.

Some decent exclusives, some better versions of games ported to other consoles, some decent conversions of games from other consoles (mainly DC games).

N64 has the weakest library of games out of any Nintendo console, there, I said it :P

Is this guy so full of money to have bought all the systems he's collecting ? I remember seeing one video of a tour of his collection. It was impressive.
Underrated systems in my book are Gamecube for sure, Dreamcast and Nomad

While at PRGE, a buddy witnessed him dropping big $$$ on a Gameboy Proto. He also had booths at both CGE and PRGE, selling his Coleco homebrew. It never seemed like it was selling incredibly well... Not enough to pay for his table, at least. Really nice guy, however. Chatted with everyone, was really friendly.

Who knows, maybe he's got a high paying job. There was one guy who had booths at both CGE and PRGE. His prices were pretty incredible, and yet he was dropping major cash at the CGE auction. The guy was just an awesome all around person, friendly, chatty, and was cutting major deals for people, while spending top dollar himself. IIRC, I was told he was an Engineering project manager at Intel. I think he just showed up to the show, and ran a booth, to be part of the whole event. $100 to him might be an hour and a half of work, to others, a day and a half. Money is weird like that.
Hey, you.

i would agree that the turbo, master system, 3do and the neo geo are underrated. maybe the colecovision

i think the gamecube and dreamcast are not underrated in my opinion.
