If I did my math right.  If you got 50 people to put in $10, each person would get like 200 cases.  There would also obviously be shipping involved however.

25 people put in 20 + ship? I'd be on that list

So. Does anyone have a Coryoon instruction manual they can scan so I can make one of these HuCase mini cases for it? Actually, I think I will start a project thread (or page) for this and chronicle covers for use with PCMCIAT2 cases.

If you need a hand creating art, let me know I'd be happy to help with some grunt work modifying existing art to fit these size cases. Hopefully most can be done via a batch, but I'd be willing to bet many will require hand tooling.

Yes, most of these will require manually fitting them all to the template. I still don't know yet about what I'm gonna do with the HuCards that have nothing but the UPCs for the back case. But I'd love help with it if you're offering as I feel that this might be an overwhelming project to do alone :)

In any case, here's the placeholder page I have up for now. Eventually I will put up files people can download the individual files from.

Your mini cases look great! I can scan Coryoon art for you. Drop me a PM or there's a 110% chance I'll space it. :)

Id be in on the bulk buy lol, those cases with the artwork look frigging awesome.
I would be a little worried about the quality of the plastic they are made from though.

The cases appear to be PCMCIA cases http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-10-Hard-Case-Holder-for-PCMCIA-Memory-Flash-cards-/221309096311?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item33870cd177

I've got one of these cases for my Everdrive. Never thought of adding art to them tho. Very cool.

For cheap baseball card sleeves, wouldn't adding art to it also solve the problem?

I use a hi quality CD storage case and it works perfectly, just make sure all your cards are in plastic sleeves to protect the teeth obviously. The cards sit perfectly at the bottom nice and snug and dont move, you can pick up a 100 storage case cheap and its about the size of a piece of a4 paper.

I think it would be great to at least "emulate" the experience of the early Japanese HuCARDs by including  the UPC on the back of the PCMCIA jewel case...

(1) I don't think there is a resource that documents these UPC stickers. If there is, share it!
(2) Your back insert should be solid gray + UPC sticker*.
(3) Real scan when available, simulated sticker otherwise (different companies had different style UPC's, you can alter some info on each UPC to make it unique for each game, like having the title of the game, and the price...purists be damned...the purists can scan the damn sticker if they are upset :) )
(4) Now, nobody is forcing you (us) to simply center the UPC sticker...it can be offset, you can zoom in and crop the top and bottom edges of circle sticker, etc. YOU can decide whether you want the "UPC layout" to be UNIFORM (UPC is always the same size and location) or to vary things...
(5) Look below, there is a "common layout" (size of sticker, four horizontal bars, etc. that has some variation in fonts, logos, sizes)

TAITO (Heavy Unit)     Masaya/NCS (Double Dungeons)     Telenet (Columns)
FACE (Hany on Road)  I'MAX (Lost Sunheart)                    Hudson (Peach Cobbler)
