Oh, no way!

OK, I stand corrected. This is truly insane, but it isn't a typo. Wow. :)

It's only a lot of money if someone doesn't have very much.

There are a lot of wealthy collectors out there who don't feel the difference in their wallet between $100 and $1000.

The sealed video game market thrives on these people.

What is a good rpice for a Dracula X game with the spine card and everything else mint with no scratches, and a brand new sealed Dracula X?  Don't tell me $1,200 for a new one.  take care.
Let the old mix with the new.

You can get a complete copy in great condition on Yahoo Japan for about 50-100 dollars (most likely $50ish). It's expensive on Ebay because... Well...

I was watching those for a while - But they were going for close to $100.  Factor in the extra 30 or so in deputy fees, and the chance that your not really going to get what you expect - could be dangerous.  I did order some stuff using Okshon! deputy services before- Not such a bad deal, worth looking into at least.  Maybe the prices were just inflated during the 2 week period I was checking it out.

Buying from YJ is not a problem. Usually at least 50% cheaper than Ebay and the Japs keep their games in great condition.

I agree, they do take care of their games - Everything I have ever ordered from Japan has been in very good condition - I took a few risks, and have always lucked out - not a ripped label or scratch on any disc.   Although the SFC carts do tend to yellow quite often.

If I am a member of Yahoo auction in America, will my account work for Yahoo Japan auctions?

I don't think so.  I'm pretty sure the only way to use yahoo japan auctions is with a deputy service or knowing someone that lives in Japan.  That's what I was told when I first showed interest it myself.

Are you sure?  I thought I saw it sealed at Super Potato for around 25,000 or 30,000 yen.  I'll check the next time I go there.

sealed doesn't mean mint condition always  ;)
