No, and the lame logo helps kill it. It's not terrible, but it lost all the sexiness that the TG-16 has. When I picture it fully decked out with grey Turbo-CD, grey tap and grey pads... it just feels like a boring European computer/console hybrid that never took off.
I remember the feelings I had during my first proper hands-on experience with the TG-16. The tap felt like R-Type, just like the Express does. It's like a Giger meets Syd Mead aesthetic, built off of the stylings of the PC Engine hardware/accessory line.
Even the idea of a grey Booster on the back physically makes me yawn. Imagine how lame the Express/GT would look in that color with that logo.
