The Hucard holder is a terrible idea. I mean, its great if you want to leave your games and their contacts to exposure and direct light and go out of your way to try to destroy them over time, but to be honest unless you plan to provide some kind of lid with it, its just a stupid idea. No way would I spend good money on that kind of crap. Come up with a clear lid for it and it would be worthwhile as a show piece. As is, no, just no.

Some car model tops would probably work.

Aww you have no faith in our OBEY cards. They been loose in the wild for over 20 years and yet no issues. Our members have them stored in coffee cups, baskets and even potpourri bags lol! I do like your lid idea alot and thought of it as well but it's not feasible for 3d printing currently as the time to print would be crazy.

Don't be butt hurt either about me commenting in your pce memories trade thread either. I don't mind you getting mad though because of it. Doesn't mean i have an issue with you just happened i had an issue with that paticular post. You can always put me on ignore if it makes you feel better or rant more on this thread cause unlike you i'm not gonna get upset and lock it lol.

Youre reading too much into this. See this quote:

Take a look and let me know what you guys think!

You asked, and you got an honest reply back. This thing is dumb as f*ck all with no lid to protect the cards from exposure and accidents. I have already seen the worst that can happen to hu-cards, given James was flooded a couple years back when the storms hit NY bad. I'd rather do what I can to protect my games then not. I even keep my SFC carts in small sealed containers. Nothing cart/card wise sits around loose and exposed waiting for accidents or damage from exposure to happen. And god forbid some clumsy spouse accidentally knocks one of these f*ckers of yours off a shelf with it being stacked full of cards with no lid to keep them in place. Make a tight fitting lid and you have a winning product. Loose like it is, no, just no....

OK, I don't want to get into any drama. So, here is some feedback:

(1) I like this tray. It's fun.
(2) The new design is 100% better than the prior one :)
(3) Is this a practical, long-term solution for storage? No. But if you are playing a bunch of games this weekend, or over the next week, there's no shame in using this as  convenient "on deck" storage as you swap games (I swap games a lot). I usually use a plastic bin or coffee mug as my temporary "holder"...at any given time, I have 3-6 games plus 1-3 system cards I want easy access to.
(4) I am not the typical use case, perhaps, but I can't be the only one who does this!
(5) If a person kept this tray on a shelf, out of direct sunlight, with a lid/cover...I think it would be OK for long term storage.

Anyway, I think this tray is fun.

I love the tray, is clear printing even possible yet?

Anyway good stuff, keep printing...I has an idea for a replaceable OG PCE case at some point, how does this stuff hold up to screws and the like?

Hopefully my ED cover shows up today, damn slow ass postal service...lol

Keep on keepin on.

Hey don't worry about drama, if you like it you like it   I appreciate your feedback, and yeah i think its great to hold some games to have at the ready. It's unique and like mg said it kind of reminds me of an old school rolodex cause you can flip through them! I'll be putting these up for sale today too.

Of course i'll keep printing, thanks glad you like it :D Just ignore prof he has no effect anything i do. Yes i can print clear but its more like a translucent when it dries than a transparent. I have a translucent blue filament which is pretty awesome too that i might try making a few things in. I hope it shows up today too, i shipped to a few people at same time and cpt just got his stuff today so i know my shipments are on their way.

I have all of my loose hueys in a stack, as space is a major issue where I live.

This would prevent me from shuffling them like deck of cards while blasting RUSH..

Not to derail the thread or anything, but if you need someone to print you a sticker for cheap, let me know. I've got access to a vinyl printer and the place doesn't charge much to use the printer.
