Mulholland Drive

Any MST3K movie...

Double Team (hey, you never said it had to be good!)
Armageddon
Robocop (Verhoeven)
Aliens
Uncle Buck
T2

ROBOCOP is one of the best movies of all time, as far as I am concerned. I friggin' love it.

But then you list T2, the biggest turd in the world. Ok, it's not the worst, but I can't rewatch it. Upon release, I saw it in the theatre... and I still don't want to rewatch it, after all these years (ok, I'm teasing you, I did see it again when it was on VHS widescreen).

Star Trek II

Originals?  I just wanna add Star Trek the motion picture and Star Trek IV the voyage home.  also Aliens.

I love the first Star Trek...it has an amazing atmosphere and I don't mind the really slow, deliberate pacing. It is visually beautiful, and the soundscape is fantastic, too.

Star Trek II = The best. I saw it with my father when I was a kid and it remains one of the best experiences. So friggin' awesome. I was 7 when I saw it, so it was particularly awesome to experience in the theatre.

Aliens = awesome, but I overwatched it in my youth.

I have watched Grave of the Butterflies so many times. It still upsets me. I have not become desensitized to it. Such a powerful film.

What? T2 was friggin awesome!!  :D The CGI effects for the time and the T-1000 completely blew my mind.
And it's probably the most quotable Arnie film, so many classic lines.

I won't say I dislike T2, but I do find myself cheering for the T-1000 to accomplish his mission and kill whiny bitch John Connor.

Even at the time, I enjoyed the original Terminator far more: the atmosphere and tension of Terminator (and, say Aliens), meant so much more to me than the vapid action sequences in T2.

I'll add:

Fires on the Plain (Ichikawa)

This achieves something that so few films can.

Also, we all forgot:

Modern Times (Chaplin)

(I have a crush on the leading lady, Paulette Goddard)

- Shawshank Redemption (I think I've watched the movie more than 50 times)
- Goodfellas
- Casino
- Scarface
- Back to the Future Trilogy
- Terminator 2
- The Replacements
- The Wizard
- Rocky 1-5
- Cocktail

...just the ones I could think of right away, but I keep my movie collection small and tend to get a hankering for watching the same ones regularly.

Indiana jones  and the temple of doom
Whisper of the Heart
Howls Moving Castle
My neighbour Totoro
Lord of the Rings : the two towers
The goonies
Lost in Translation
Meet me in St. Louis
Rear Window
Toy Story
Wall-E
Zu Warriors from the magic mountain
Back to the Future
Fong Sai Yuk
Lost in Translation is one of the few movies I can watch more than once. It just has a special atmosphere. The music contributes a lot to that too.
