Today's fun fact: John Romero is apparently having an eBay garage sale, including a boxed TG-16: http://www.ebay.com/sch/the_romero/m.html?item=271916881858&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

He's been listing stuff on eBay for a while now.  I almost bought his Vectrex off of him.  Ended up only going for like $80.

I don't believe the story about him buying it in 1990 though.  The box has a 39.99 sticker on it.

His lengthy hair was apparently the highpoint of internet gaming humor circa 1998.  It was a dark time for jokes, indeed.
Current want list:  Bomberman 93

That's because Carmack was a decent guy who kept of doing good stuff ... and Romero was a self-promoting ass who thought that he was god's gift to gaming, left ID, and then went on to prove project after project that he was just an idiot that got very lucky the first time.

Shit just got real.

I'm guessing it sold already, I didn't even see it.

While it was with box it seems to be missing the packin game and more importantly the back cover.

Yup, I noticed that too.

I can't believe it went over $100.
