Subor SB-2000 Famicom computer system FS-FT

Any interest in this thing before I pack it away to never be seen or heard from again?

Would be willing to trade it for PCE, TG, Snes, or SFC stuff, etc. Evidently this thing can play converted roms and what not. Its one of the older systems that uses better hardware evidently. I believe the thing is running in Pal 60, though don't quote me on that.

PAL 60 means that it can run without slowdown on NTSC TVs, right? I might be interested.

Yeah without slowdown, but your TV still needs to be able to display Pal. My Toshiba can without cropping or any issues, as can my cap card. Many upscalers can also. Keep in mind, only game I have run on this thing is Super Star Force. It ran full speed, as fast as it does on a emu anyway.

I can probably get an adapter for it though. They don't look that expensive. PM incoming.

Yeah you'd just need to make sure it is a good adapter and not a junky one, like the small ones out there that use USB for power. Emerson used to have a pretty nice NTSC to Pal/Pal to NTSC converter box out there for sale.

I'm not sure how that one is, but the one I had prior by Emerson was kind of large and worked really well, but only handled composite. I ended up giving it away though since I no longer needed it. In this day and age they are kind of unneeded. Most decent upscalers being used these days for gaming can handle Pal fine.
