Ok, I had a perfectly good tg-16.  A little scratched maybe, but perfectly good.  Today I saw an almost mint in box tg-16 for sale on craigslist.  No price listed.  Had to have it, called the guy, he wanted $120 - fine.  Now I've got 2.  Is there something wrong with me?

Excellent, Excellent, You're leaning to OBEY correctly.

Also I own atm:
Tg-16 W BOX
Tg-16 W CD and Clamshell
US DUO
DOU RX
Turbo Express

If anything you need to catch up:

Also this..............

One is enough for me. Maybe two, one as a backup, but I don't want to hoard stuff. I just want to OBEY, not keep others from OBEY.

I think I may have joined a cult.  8-[

Al, what are you running as far as OBEY? PC engine? Turbo Grafx? Or one of the many variants of DUOS? If you have a U.S Duo, you probably want to get that puppy recapped as soon as possible, Keith Courage would be the man to talk to on capping and possibly selling refurbished units.

Alex, here is a list of shooters, which you can re-sort by various categories:

I'm running a TurboGrafx, there's a guy over here selling new old stock TG-16's, for £89 I thought "why not"

Gotta knock off Tatsujin and Magical Chase the to-beat list some time. I used to think I had beaten all the non-CD shooters at least, but I still have a good amount to left. Coryoon looks nice and colorful, I missed that too.

TurboGrafx-16 or just plain TurboGrafx?  I picked up one of the TGs for shits and giggles, but I've nothing that'll accept PAL.  :|

Magical Chase and Coryoon are definitely doable, but good luck with Tatsujin.  I think it hates me.

My bad, just regular TurboGrafx

Well today was a bust, went in the afore mentioned retro game shop and the dude behind the counter hadn't even heard of PC Engines or TurboGrafx.  ](*,)

Anyhoo, thanks for the warm welcome, guys.

Still no definitive answer on this "obey" business, tho.  :-" :-k

These days it's extremely rare to find a bricks and mortar retro game shop here in the UK, let alone one that's heard of PC Engine or TurboGrafx.
The only one I know of is Raven Games in London and I'm not even sure if their bricks and mortar shop is still going, also their prices since back in the day have always been really high.

^^ this.  Japan and USA had the stuff but there were very limited release in any part of Europe so most European probably have never heard or seen one at all.

To be fair to the bloke he said he couldn't help with anything "technical", maybe he was standing in for someone, it was around lunch time???

Got another couple of questions for you guys; will my plain old TurboGrafx play all Hu cards  (except SuperGrafx ones) with the appropriate adaptor?

Also, is there regional lockout between US and European Hu cards?

Yes.

There are no European HuCards.  They're all either JP or NA, even the Korean ones were just NA games with stickers.

No, I'm not a violent man.

I was a little shocked he hadn't even heard of them, even tho I've only been an owner exactly one week today, they had been on my radar for years.

I'm glad I can play everything available, then.

How easy/hard are CD attachments to get hold of and can you Jerry rig a PC Engine CD to a TG?

Some awesome looking shooters I'd like to get my teeth into.
