Eh, I actually like playing my TG16 which is why I even want a full set. It's the only console I collect for other than the 64 that I bother to play often, which is why I am also going for a full set of that.
I like that apparently I am lumped in with "what the retro scene has become" though, because you know how long I have been collecting so well obviously lol.

Reboot.

Yeah, it is a reboot. I joined this site a year or so ago when I was starting to get my full Tgb16 set, so I figured I would come back now that I am missing mainly big titles, as they rarely show up for sale on eBay and other places...Glad to see that the community has grown up so much and are still so nice and helping :p

Yeah, it's one of the largest collecting forums, I'm sure some people here also have accounts there...
THey also tend to be nicer overall XD

ok, but what do you expect to get out of this place?  somebody to just hand you a deal better than ebay after the thread from a year ago and really no contributions since?  just an annual "check-in"?  half of the people in here don't have most of the R@R3Z, but come here to chat it up about video games, turbo, nulls fat ass, hair dryers, wmac, soop & donna, secret santa, raffles, stardate armageddon, car wings, raffle thieves, toys, music, teh what did you buy today, FEKA, ebay gripes, tool assisted speed runs, photography, snow storms, parasites, butts, our kids, homebrews, careers, nostalgia, 3d printing, art projects, mods/repairs, flea markets, yard sales, thrift stores, movies, manual misprints, apostrophes, etc.

I just figured I'd post here as well since I am a member and I have been watching eBay and other places and have not seen much in terms of what I need, except at 4x the selling value sitting unsold for months.
I never said I wanted hand outs, I never said I wanted deals, just looking for games I am missing that I can't find elsewhere.

I have been gone for a year because this community is not a very nice place for newcomers, regardless of their intent, I just had hoped the attitude had changed somewhat in a year.

No really, the problem is people that contribute or do nothing really coming around looking for the good stuff.  The ratio of people wanting these games vs. people selling them is just increasing.  A lot of people come here thinking it's some small undiscovered gold mine in the corner of the internet.  And it is, depending on what you are looking for.  Not in a tangible way, but real good peeps.  I wish a lot of other consoles had a small tight community like this, but unfortunately we are stuck with clowns that heard about this place on nintendoage or neo-geo.
