Macross 25th Anniversary VF-1J Boxed Valkyrie, Pics Added!
« on: July 29, 2015, 07:42:12 PM »
I'll be posting pics of this soon, but before I do, I just want to see if there is interest in it here. It's one of the Japanese ones built for the 25th Anniversary of Macross. It is the metal ones that are a reproduction of the ones made in 1982. The Red and White Veritech Fighter from Robotech flown by Rick Hunter and was also the basis of Jet Fire in the original Transformers toy line before it was pulled. They generally sell for about $300.00 these days, but that's on Evilbay and not my style. I am looking for either $100.00 plus shipping or a nice trade of maybe some PCE/Turbografx games I might be interested in. The figure has been transformed like six times and is in brand new condition. The box has some slight shelf wear, which is normal. The stickers were never put on and it has all of the pieces. I never even busted the fireable missiles from the plastic pieces to go in the gun. It's practically brand new.

It's been a bit since i have been around, sadly due to health issues. I have had some transactions here before. Professor Professorson and i have worked many deals out and he recommended I put this here, so here we are. I am sure Turboswimbz would vouch for me too. Anyway, he said there were plenty of transformers and Robotech/Macross collector's here, so let's see what happens. My point is that I want this gone as i have kids that are less than gentle and are always trying to get their hands on it. I would rather it go to a home where someone would really enjoy it. I am more than fine just having the DVD's of the cartoon at this point. LOL Also, I ONLY ship with tracking and insurance. I'll cover that on my end. I don't trust the post Office. Sorry.

PM me if you are interested and we can talk it out.

I love the original Macross. Sadly I've already got some transformable Valkyrie toys on my shelf. But I wish you good luck with your sale and all the best regarding your health.

They tried to make me do a recap
I said no, no, no

Anyone want to help me here? I keep trying to attach pics and every time I do, even if in a reply to this thread instead of modifying it, it takes me to the start new topic page instead of modifying or posting the pics. Kind of irritating.

I appreciate the offer, but yeah, I can't do that because then I can't sell this one as complete...LOL. Buy mine, take the missile and then sell it off minus the missile?

Yeah, like I said, it's really cool as Hell, but with the way my kids are, I want to keep it that way. My Son thinks I am going to just hand it over to him because he asked for it. He doesn't understand that isn't going to happen. Every time he comes over he's eying it. I keep telling him how expensive they are, but he doesn't seem to care about that. I just hope somebody snags it is all at this point.

I have a G1 Jetfire which used the exact same mold. As I understand, Hasbro bought the mold and USA sale right and labeled it as Transformers to deny Harmony Gold the USA sale right.

How much would I have to pay for you to give the thing to your kid?

That's funny. I am always giving stuff to my kid. He's spoiled. Not to mention he wants to repaint it and such...not exactly the point of it, you know?

I'm not joking. This is one of the best toys ever and today's kids have been swindled out of it. If he gets it he'll enjoy it the way it was made to be enjoyed, in a way you and I never can again.

I will seriously buy this for your kid. PM me with your price and payment details.

EDIT: Please tell me your kid isn't like 34 years old. :)
