Rewarding new members with terrible games, Sounds like an awesome idea lol!

I do believe said game is from you. lol!  I think I got it when I traded an extra TG-16 for your loosey sport games.
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

Woo! I'm eligible. Unfortunately, this is the only turbo game I have. I bought a PCE duo a few months ago that was RGB modded and region modded from mickcris. While it was in the mail, i went perusing the local game. TV Sports was the only turbo or PCE game they had under $40, and the rest is history.

I'm only here because it takes me one step closer to removing the verification step from my posts.  No, who am I kidding, free games are fun, even if as a Canadian I am more of a TV Sports Hockey kind of guy!

My random story: Probably the light switch moment where I went from casual historian of the system to full fledged fan was when I popped in WORLD COURT TENNIS just so I could sample this game I'd picked up in a bundle as a kid.  Yep, looks like most other tennis games I've played in the 8-bit and 16-bit eras...wait, "Quest Mode"?  Whoever thought to make a DRAGON WARRIOR-esque RPG out of a tennis game is a God to me; the gameplay fits surprisingly well, all things considered.  For the next several days I was hooked, and I even came home to see my lady fiending in on all the tennis.  We were copying passwords (ahhh that poop text character) and cussing obscenities whenever you'd play the full sets and would have to try playing from the top of the screen instead of the usual bottom.  The controls get all messed up, and it's pretty much a guaranteed win for the computer for each of those matches.  Eventually we persevered and even made it to the Canadian city in the game, or almost, anyway ("TORONT"), and then hunted down the eclectic things in the game that would allow us to reach, and give us an advantage against, the final boss.  Buying a tube from some random villager, trading your pearls for a magic 8-ball (okay), etc.  We made it to the evil green king, applied our knowledge and powerups, and promptly got annihilated.  Again and again.  I don't know if I'll ever be able to finish the game, but just the whole act of witnessing some generic-looking sports game transform into this amusing RPG filled with quirky wonder was the gateway drug into a life of NEC debauchery.  Can't wait to see the similar RPG tidings in FINAL LAP TWIN.

Thanks for offering up the card and for giving me a chance to participate a little more on the site - it's still tough to find much of worth to say considering I still have so little experience with the TG-16 library.  Soon.

It is very possible. I hate all the TV sports titles, so I refuse to keep them. I know others like them, but I think they are terrible. The worst one is the basketball one. I'm not a sports fan anyway, so that makes me a bit bias.

It was a cold and stormy day, well actually it was 80 and sunny.  Turboswim (who talks in the thrid person sometimes like some sort of wierdo)  was walking up a hill.   Holding the holy grail of turbobs, sportsTV football.  After staring into the sun what seemed like a time way to long, he called out to the turbob gods.  PLeased with his turbokarma they transformed his single turbob chip into 2 fantastic PCE CD games.
earlier 2 rather handsome fellows had indeed shared some good stories, and so he allowed the obey gods to rain upon the head of each of the two a CD game with all it's glory!  :D :D :D :D 8) 8) 8)

             WINNERS: GROLT & ESCARIOTH

FORUM KNUCKLEHEAD = TURBOSWIMbzbzbz for infact giving away 2 PCE games in a raffle for a tvfootball and in the turbografx section.    ](*,)

Hi guys! (Im cheating and doing a bit of copy paste from my welcome post)

My name is Ryan and I am here, because a few months ago a friend of mine had me over, and he had just gotten a Duo. We played the 3 in one CD game that included the two bonks games and Gates of thunder.

I was truly amazed at the shooter, and the bonk games as well. (Never played a NEC nor knew anyone that has every owned one)

It was an extremely cool system, and so I decided to purchase a TG16 unit when I stumbled across it for a decent price.  I purchased a few games, like Blazing lazers, and Cybercore, and Devils crush. By that point I had been bitten by the NEC bug. It is a really under rated system that deserves to live on as one of the better systems I have every played. OBEY

With the Canadian dollar being worth its weight in loose Keith Courage in Alpha Zones cards right now, it's pretty tough to justify paying $400 for a PCE Duo, so I was planning on just waiting it out a little bit in hopes things get better.
