I'm not going to judge a controller by the length of the cable. That's easily fixed with an extension.

However, the worst for cable length was the launch day JP PS1. That thing was stupid short, I seem to remember it being like two feet long, maybe.

Back in the day though I wasn't aware or knew where to buy cable extensions.
With the Super Famicom I've always used a UK SNES pad, which has a normal length cable.

Super Famicom pad cable lengths are bad. I have a couple that I've swapped the cords from dead US controllers from to increase the length.

I love my AES Sticks, so bad ass but for my AES duties I mostly use my MAS Arcade stick.  Look for one of those.

Sale I guess..

I saw that one. Its pretty banged up tho. There is one seller who has cornered the market and won't take offers. I should have bought one a while back. You could get them for $60 shipped easy.

I was a jack ass and offered him $25, but he countered with $50 really lame.

Hey ToyMachine, is the Neo CD pad in good shape, with the directional dealio working properly?  If so, I could trade you for the stick in the pictures in this article:

http://www.cgquarterly.com/2013/04/13/modernizing-a-neo-geo-aes-joystick/

So it's not stock since as you can see I replaced the buttons and ball, but honestly it's a huge upgrade.

I think the stick is worth a bit more than the controller, so maybe you could throw something else in?  Assuming that you're even interested to begin with...

That looks really easy to do. I almost want to go out today and buy the parts and build my own!

The pad works great, but I'm not looking to get rid of it. I prefer using it for certain games.

Actually, after seeing your stick I may do the same. I might find a clunker and fix it up. Yours looks great!

Sorry, I got the wrong impression from your post.  I thought you were offering the NeoCD pad up for trade.  Nevermind!
