Raffle; Loose Andre Panza WINNER SELECTED!!!!
« on: August 25, 2015, 12:23:05 PM »
I'm pretty simple here. I am all about giving back to the community that has so kept me in the Turbografx scene, and I like it here, so it's time...Been a bit since i have held a raffle anyway. I have some ground rules though. They are pretty easy to follow, and you don't have to I suppose, however, should you not, I hope that your soul is in eternal torture and bondage upon death due to be a total Douche wad. With that said, rules are simple. DO NOT FLIP this game. This is for the community and is meant to be played. I know, probably not a high price item, but still, please keep it in the community, which leads to rule number two. Should you decide to replace this game with a complete copy, please re-raffle the game. Let someone else enjoy the game and have as much fun with it as you did. last rule, please have more than 50 posts. It's pretty simple. I also reserve the right to remove anyone from this list that I feel is going to flip or is a total bullshitter. If I do remove you, take a second look at your time here and see if you can feel it out as to why I did. Whining and crying to me won't get you back on the list. I will randomly draw a winner on the first or second of September as long as time permits...

The GOODS;
One Loose, in really good shape Andre Panza's Kickboxing in a generic sleeve for the Turbografx 16 console.

The Entrants:
PUNCH
Damon Plus
780racer
KnightWarrior

WINNER: PUNCH!!! PM me your shipping info and I'll get this out as soon as I can. Congrats.

I've got a copy of this coming in the mail so I will abstain, but thanks for offering this up and good luck to the entrants. Love Kickboxing in the movies (bow down to all that is BLOODSPORT) and wish there were more games about it.
I'm a notorious strange man.

Yeah, I got a complete copy coming, so can let go of the loose. Like I said, it's been a couple of years since I did a raffle, so there you have it. I won some of the stuff I play via raffle, so happy to pass on the tradition here. Good users deserve good games.

I could never really get good at this game. I did like it though well enough when I was a teen. Anyway, don't enter me, but +1 karma to ya T2K. :)

NIce raffles.  thanks for the community give back freek.
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

Spenoza: The wannabe masculinity just overwhelms.

This is the one they call Best of the Best in other systems? If so, add me please, as I have always liked the fluid movements of the fighters, altough I've never played any version extensively.

Yes, someone had the audacity to claim this was the "best of the best"...the entire presentation is very nice, and the career mode seems pretty fleshed out (it is fun to create a character and build up)...but I don't know if I ever really had a full grasp of the fighting mechanics. Maybe it is just a matter of getting used to the timing.

I found this far more enjoyable than Champions Forever Boxing. Then again, BLOODSPORT.

Then again, nothing in Andre Panza invokes BLOODSPORT.

It's more like a local, suburban gym in Belgium...especially earlier in your career when only a handful of street vendors (taking a break) are in the audience.

Yes, I always imagined the game was set in Belgium. Because that makes it more fun than France. Because.

Kumite, kumite, kumite.

I'm not sure why they disguised André Panzer as a Karate game and added a bloodsport like level for the SNES release... if they were trying to cash in on bloodsport they failed miserably.

Switchzx's amazing quote -
"I was starting with the hardest to get games first. I realized I was never going to get Magical Chase so gave up on it all, sold up and got out."

Generally, you wouldn't be in my raffle because I usually want at least 50 posts, but for the sake of making it look like people actually wanted to enter, you got in at the last minute...LOL. WOW! Three whole people! Awesome. Love them some Andre Panza!
