I reckon you're better off refunding by the time it gets to you and you then pass it on.

He could have them send it directly to them.

cool thanks for that..  thats exactly where it is, as you can see i had/have a fair bit to offload so just dumped it on ebay and let the market set the pricing rather than haggle back and forward on the forums, as i hadnt actually bought and sold for ages i didnt know what to offer items for and no one seemed to be keen to trade for any of the last bits i wanted.  these were my trade items, im keeping my tg collection, the other stuff is my actual collection which im getting rid of..

eBay gets you the most money for the stuff you got off of forums. Whatever..
It is all about the money these days. I will leave it at that.. Good luck with yours sales.

So why don't you just get on ebay and let the market set the pricing for a loose hucard rather than haggle back and forward on the forums for one. I mean seriously, you're basically saying we are not good enough to sell to, because of haggling or whatever reason, but you want one of us to bail you out because your game arrived defective???    :-k

Guys, this thread and the attitudes expressed are why i didnt sell here, actually i tried to sell other items here in the forums, and pretty much got no interest, or people wanting to low ball, and some of you actually bought my auctions on ebay and were happy with the gear and prices paid.  would love for some of those guys to stand up and say "i bought and im happy"

So why didnt i sell here

1. People bitch at pricing, you cant win here, flames no matter what
2. people wanted to haggle ( sorry i didnt know current pricing ) when i asked for offers i got stupid offers, give me an actual offer and i may have taken it
3. people showed no interest in gear.

Sorry people, i listed on ebay, every auction sold, everything went up in price significantly more than the starting bids, i listed the gear to sell, you had a chance, everyone had the same chance, but clearly you wanted it handed to you on a plate.

Sparky as for your comment, ( and i fully expected it ) i didnt buy anything from the forums, nothing sold came from this forum, but of course you wont believe that.

As for this request, yes i asked if anyone had a hu card to sell, did i ask for a low price? NO.. did i suggest i didnt want to go to ebay and pay the prices NO, am i asking you to bail me out, hell no, i figured it was probably easier to buy from someone here  and get it shipped directly, at least i trusted the people here to do that.., i was trying to help this buyer out who go something that didnt work on arrival, no questions asked..  this forum just seems to be full of spoiled brats who want to pay diddly squat for items or abuse people who dont sell directly here.  Im here looking to buy an item to send to someone who bought something that said it didnt work, trying to make sure they are happy, yet i get told im all about the money.. and so you flame me, im essentially going to give the guy the game for free and pay to cover shipping and you flame me..  grow up people..

I couldnt give a flying f*ck if you are all about the money or not. The thing is this was your philosophy, the whole "let the ebay market set the pricing", so just f*cking stick to it.  Issue the buyer a partial refund and have them track their own replacement down, or just pay for a prepaid shipping label and have them send the item back for a full refund.

As for your totally unnecessary rant, I buy on ebay all the time. I have no issues with ebay. The problem here stems from your clear disdain for selling to us on this forum, but being perfectly fine with ebay, opting for ebay instead of being willing to deal with us on a personal level. I mean honestly I am not interested at all in selling to a guy on here that isn't willing to sell to me, especially one who clearly loathes this place and many of its members.

And I mean come the f*ck on. First you say you were not sure of the current going rates because you had not bought or sold in awhile, but in the same stroke you felt like you had enough knowledge of the current market situation to decide certain offers made to you were "stupid" as you put it.

I am sorry that things like personal pms back and forth that contain things like price negotiations are too much for you to handle, but again, this is a mrhaboobi problem, not a PCEFX one. Go back to f*cking ebay and take care of your business.

thanks for your words of wisdom..  as always such elegant responses.. cant exactly say my post was a rant, but guess thats your opinion

as an example of low balling, i know that $5 for an item going for 10 fold on forum sales is kinda taking the piss, i didn't have time to deal with that, current situation dictated that i get stuff sold quickly and with at least issues as possible..  funnily enough i sold alot of my items to these forum members here, some even contacted me during auctions.

I also sold to forum members privately on atari age and nintendo age ( while i was selling atari and nintendo stuff), two forums where members seem to understand the market value and provide fair offers, and by fair im not talking ebay pricing either, cos ebay is a pain.. especially for international sales..

Sorry you felt you were excluded.  i cant do much about that, had i of listed a post with a link to the auctions someone would have complained regardless.. its the nature of this forum.  and it seems to be restricted in general the us tg 16 forums, the pce parts seems to be more civil..

Im still looking for a loose hu to buy , if someone has one and is happy to ship to a different buyer address then please pm me, otherwise i'll just grab one from ebay.  Thanks
