Golden Axe and Strider come to mind...I'd rather play the Megadrive versions (if we're just counting conversions and not arcade originals).

Some would argue Dungeon Explorer for the SCD and Wonder Boy in Monster World too. Space Harrier is far better on the 32X.

Militay Madness. I'm always thinking in getting thr remade Nectaris, but it seems those graphics made it lose its charm.

I have Serious love for R-Type on the TG. The rondo port seems way more fun than Super Castlevania 4. Like yes it is slower, but it feels more like the older NES ones, which I prefer. Bonks is way better on the TG as well. Have not played enough gradius to give my honest opinion yet.

I have to go with Lords of Thunder as my main choice.  That was the game at the time slapping all the Sega CD fans in the face.  Then, the sega version came out and I was pissed, but happy to notice it was not as good.  Still a good game and interesting to see they kept some of the things that were on the Japanese Winds of Thunder version.  I also prefer the raw recording of  the Turbo/pc-e over the re-recorded Sega CD version.

Well... let me think about it. The thing is, I've got some games that were released on other consoles, too. Like the Valis series, Winds of Thunder, Gradius I/II and Salamander. However, I've only played them on the Turbo so far, and that's why I can only judge by reviews that the Turbo versions of these games are seen often as the better ports.

In case of the Gradius and Salamander games, I would like to give the original Arcade versions a try. But I fear that these would be way too tough for me, since the console ports usually let me choose the difficulty.

EDIT: Now that I just won Salamander Deluxe for PS1 in an ebay auction, I'll definitely give the Arcade original a try. :) Although I wanted that game mainly for Salamander 2.

I'd rather play any multiplatform port on Turbob, because f*ck other platforms.  OBEY or GTFO!!!

If I have to pick just one, I'll go with Ys IV.  The SNES version may be canon, but it's turdy in every way compared to the PCE game.

Isn't YS IV for the Snes a completely different game? Oh yeah, the other game would be Wizardry 4. Much better in every way than the PC counterpart.

I didn't know the SFC Ys IV was considered canon.. that just doesn't seem right!  I will probably play through it one day on SFC (I have played a couple of minutes) but in my mind PCE Ys IV is true canon.

Anybody feel this way about Might & Magic III?  Seems like a good version, just another title out of my reach for the moment so I've never played the Turbo version.

Tv sports basketball. Pressing the TE's button to score feels damn good, even if I am guessing what happens on its tiny screen sometimes.
