« on: October 14, 2015, 05:04:07 AM »
Subj pretty much says it all, I would love to find a Card/Manual/Case copy of Military Madness to add to the collection as well as a Turbo Express.

I have Paypal and trades ready, Thanks!

Good luck.  Turbo Express is da bomb.  Do you have a trade list perhaps?

Not really a list, but everything on my site would be available to trade towards it  http://shop.thundercards.com

Ghost Manor and Space Harrier are high for loose cards, but the rest of the games are right in line with market value these days.
I'm a notorious strange man.

Yes, but that means he's looking to pay $80 for a CIC Military Madness and $300 for an unserviced Turbo Express. So it all works out in the end.

Except for the market inflated by resellers.

Are you high? Open your browser and actually check your facts before you blindly post in support of gouging!

He's asking $50 for SH loose. Sells for <$15 on eVay:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&_nkw=turbografx+space+harrier&_sop=15

He's asking $75 for GM loose. It sells for $40 on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=turbografx+space+harrier&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xturbografx+ghost+manor.TRS0&_nkw=turbografx+ghost+manor&_sacat=0

You can get GM in case with manual for less on eBay.

I am most definitely guilty of relying too much on pricecharting.  It is not, nor has never been my intention to price gouge, as you'll see with other prices from games that have much higher volume on price charting, the are more in line.

Thank you for so respectfully pointing out my mistakes, they will be rectified soon.

Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of a solid deal on either of the items I'm looking for?

How about you join the community and keep your eyes out? This isn't a marketplace forum like Nintendo Age.

We're not here to point you to solid deals. We're not here to help you add to your collection on command.

But this is a marketplace sub-forum :P But anyway I'm not demanding someone have these items and want to sell to me, was just trying to get the thread back on topic.

wo wo calm down, I'm not supporting gouging. I'm telling you that ebay prices are higher than his prices on his site.

Just because you pulled out some lower priced items on ebay, doesn't mean all the games there are that low.

I'm sorry that you think everyone is a gouger who doesn't sell their games for lower than $10.

If you actually clicked the links or checked eBay in the first place, you'd see that those aren't a couple individual cherry picked listings. It's the entire current sales history for each game on eBay and really are all within the price ranges I stated. If you are dumb enough to believe that asking prices = selling prices, then why don't I list Space Harrier on eBay for $100,000 and you can pat someone on the back for only asking $50,000?

With this post you are literally promoting gouging by continuing to perpetuate b.s. that you're pulling out of your ass (claiming that evidence-backed facts are just the dreams of whiners), the same cliched way that pro-gougers do.

Also, "2x lower" would mean that this guy is offering to pay people the full eBay "going rate" to anyone willing to take the games off his hands.
