Hi all,

I'm new here, but I have an item for sale that I thought might be of particular interest to this community: a brand-new Pioneer Laseractive PAC-N10 module. This is the ultra-rare US version (the Japanese version is the PAC-N1). It's complete-in-box, unopened, and mint. Also included is everything that came in the "Promotional Pack" that certain retailers offered with the PAC-N10.

You get:

[ul][li]New, mint-in-box PAC-N10 module. Also included in the box is a special, Laseractive-branded TurboPad controller and instructional paperwork. Everything is unopened and unused.[/li][li]Sealed Quiz Econosaurus LD-ROM2 game.[/li][li]Sealed TurboDuo 3-in-1 disc; includes Gate of Thunder, Bonk's Adventure, and Bonk's Revenge (also includes hidden Bomberman game accessible via special code).[/li][li]Sealed Power Golf HuCard game.[/li][li]Sealed Fantasia: Masterpiece Edition Laserdisc.[/li][li]Sealed Zoom Laser Video magazine.[/li][li]Sealed informational packet containing instruction manuals for TurboDuo 3-in-1 disc and code for hidden Bomberman game.[/li][/ul]
This is an amazing package. Everything is in mint condition with the exception of Power Golf, which has some minor denting to the box. Please note that a Pioneer Laseractive console is required to use this PAC-N10 module and is not included in the sale. I'm asking for $1,500 or best offer.

I have a 100% rating on eBay, which you can see here: http://www.ebay.com/usr/sthomason?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

Everything will be packaged and shipped with the utmost care to ensure it arrives safe and sound. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions or would like to see additional photos. Thanks!

If the PAC has never been opened there is a very high chance the caps are leaking, killing itself and very much not mint.

I bought two of them at the same time from the same seller. I use the other one myself and it hasn't had any issues whatsoever. Of course, I can't guarantee that this one doesn't have leaking caps, but even if it does, the odds of it being damaged beyond repair are slim. These aren't nearly as bad as the Sega PACs.

Still as bad as TurboExpress and PCE GT. When they leak, it can be a bitch to clean and repair them.

Whoever buys them, I strongly suggest recapping it.  There can't be any MISB electronics these day because of shit caps, they will eventually leak and ruin. and if it goes that far even leak out and ruin the box they are in.

Too bad you didn't wait to sell it. Otherwise it looks like you only registered on the forums just to sell it.

The feeling is mutual.... Anyway..

$2500 on something that may or may not work is a little extreme. Good luck getting anyone putting up that much scratch other than sealed collectors..

Pretty sure that sealed collectors are his target audience.  They don't give a shit about leaky caps, either because this thing is most likely NEVER going to be played on by anyone.

Loose recapped units are pushing what $800 to $900 now?  So new* with all the trimmings.... $2500 feels high, but then again sealed collector logic is different than normal logic so....

Just wait until leaky caps leaks so far the shit ends up on the box itself, ruining it.
