FS: Turbo Express
« on: December 03, 2015, 11:55:34 PM »
I recently picked up a turbo express that has been recapped.  Ive never been much on handheld systems, but thought this might win me over....it did not.  The system itself is fine, looks great and plays perfectly... but its just not for me.  My original plan was to have turbokon upgrade the screen, but I dont see the point in sinking money into something that will just sit on my shelf.  Asking 175 shipped anywhere USA for it.  According to eBay I am asking too little....f*ck ebay....  :)

Props for letting it go for such a reasonable price, if I had funds it would be mine...

Hope it finds a happy home.

Yeah great price on the TE and good luck on the sale.  I just recently sent my TE out to get the screen modded.  The stock screen was too small for my taste so we'll see if the bigger screen will be better.

Guys, I just had a terrible revelation about the TurboExpress.

There is like a 90% chance any TurboExpress has been played in the bathroom at some point.  Any turbochip that was in there with it is now coated in a fine film of fecal particles.  Then, chances are that these games made it back into the used market, ebay, raffles here even!  It doesn't matter if you don't even own a Turboexpress, someone was once probably taking a power dump with your copy of Power Golf.  Don't think your PCE Hus are safe either, definitely some GT/LT action happening in the ol' トイレ.

At least my obsessive GB collecting is free from this tyranny!  No way anyone would ever take a Game Boy into the bathroom.

All kidding aside, I would buy your ToiletExpress (tm) if I had the scratch.  I love portable systems.  Got a Neo Geo Pocket Color and WonderSwan (not color, sadly) on my desk right now.  I never had a Game Gear, Lynx, or TurboExpress yet but one day I will get one of each hopefully with battery and screen mods.

Wait what raffle?  I'm in for the MISB Super Pitfall or MISB 2600 SPace Invaders or whatever.  Just leave those grime in the toilet where they belong.
