Pc fx controller backwards compatible?

I just bought a pc fx controller, I can use in on my pc engine duo right?

Connector isn't the same.  Not sure if it can be rewired but I kind of doubt it.

lol, I hope you didnt buy this thinking you could use it on pce.  If so, always ask here first if ya dont know.  Far as rewiring....I dont see why one couldnt swap the innards of a ave 6 or duo rx pad and make it work.  Some of these guys have done shit I never thought was possible, so a controller swap should be simple I would think.

Damn whoops. Got it for a steal so hopefully i can pass it along to someone who needs it. Its new in the box, any interest?

 I read online that it was identical to the duo r  pad except for the turbo functionality so I just assumed that meant the pin out as well . Smh
