Look I apologize. I didn't realize Hall is held in such high regard.

I'm pretty active here, and I've never seen him post. It rubbed me the wrong way when a FS thread pops up, boom PM sent. Especially considering that he's been a member for 5 years, not very active post wise, and the majority of threads were FS/WTB.  Just my feelings.

This place flames folks all the time for this. I guess you have to be an oldtimer for it to be acceptable.

In the end, at least I gave Esteban a good chuckle.

His rep is irrelevant in this case. He didn't do anything wrong. You're taking this "community" thing way too far. Someone posted something for sale, he bought it, or actually...he *mentioned* that he sent a PM. That isn't avaricious behavior. It just isn't.

When a code of conduct turns your life into a minefield of evil dooers, maybe you think about certain things too much.
Blah blah blah. I apologized. Get the f*ck over it.

Is the Turbo Express still for sale?  I can't quite tell after reading through most of this thread.

You didn't apologize. You said "I apologize" but then wrote a paragraph to support the thing you are supposedly apologizing for. That's now how apologies work.

"I guess you have to be an old timer for it to be acceptable." That's not apologizing, that's getting the last word in. Why? In this thread? What's the point?

I would PM the guy and ask. Don't mention you did so though!

Uh, toymachine's account is now deleted ? Over a little jumping the gun ? Another duophilic defection ?

Well, I never really had conversations with the guy, and I don't think he respected me anyway, but he was active enough so it's kind of a shame.

lastcallhall I think had an account on one of my forum versions. Always a pretty quiet guy, and that's about it. He's been around for ages in retro circles. I'm sure I remember seeing that alias around here and there.

Way of the galam... Gone! *sniff* :( Last seen: DoxPhile, where all the cool kids hang...

I am surprised, I mean, I've seen far worse (The DarkKo wars) and took part in it myself. It's fine to be suspicious, he just made a wrong call/guess on lastcallhall. A correction was warranted and some times you're gonna take some heat. To be expected. I don't think we were that bad with him, but everybody's tolerance for when they're on the hot seat varies, so...

Well, so long, fellow PC Engine fan. We hardly knew ye... ;)
