What's the final forum headcount?

I am staying near the airport to cut some of my awful drive home down on Sunday, but Saturday the convention is my sole planned activity.

If someone brings a LA, I will supply the nudie games.

Like Jeff, this is the one thing last couple of years that has gotten me to clear my schedule. It's the best weekend of the year, bar none. Unfortunately, I can't make it this year. Much sadness.

I will be there next year though.

And Null and I can drive up together.

And bunk together.

I am stopping in Chicago on the way up and catching White Sox opening day on Friday.  I just saw the high is 40 degrees on Friday, which I wasn't expecting when I booked a few weeks ago.  I thought that the midwest was supposed to be warm and summery, so much for my tropical vacation plans to escape wintery Bufaflo, NY.

HA! I too am catching the Sox home opener. Looks like we have very similar weekend plans. Where are your seats? 40 degrees is going to suck for a baseball game

I haven't bought my tickets yet, I am betting on Stubhub getting cheaper as the forecast solidifies as freezing.  I am going with two friends that have very little interest in spending money, so they will probably force me into crappy seats.

I have gone to a few Cleveland Indians and Buffalo Bisons openers which have been similar or colder weather, but I don't know why.

Ah man, I wish I could be at the Sox game too!! If only I weren't so busy at work. :/ But I will be at MGC this Saturday.

Sox game update, high no longer 40...  now 36.  At least rain is unlikely.

For me that's always t-shirt and shorts regardless of weather.

Yup...we got lucky the past few years with having warm(ish) weather around MGC time. I think last year it was 60's or 70's. This year it's looking like it could be sub-40 degrees during the weekend. Hell, it snowed 3 inches this past Saturday.

If you're coming from warmer weather states, make sure you pack a decent jacket for the weekend. The forecast could change at the drop of a hat but assume the worst.

So how cold should I expect it to be there? I'm coming from a warm climate. Also, plans fell through with previous hotel roomie so if anyone's deciding on going last minute but looking on cutting costs, lemme know. :)

As of right now...

Saturday - high of 37, low of 29
Sunday - high of 49, low of 40

Last year it hit the 60's or so, by comparison. Never super warm this time of year but this is a little chilly even for us. Bundle up!
