I think I posted this like 8 years ago, but I didn't really do anything...
So I am posting again, I feel motivated to do something about it...
Here goes.
Who remembers the darkcityproductions turbo duo pages? Now here:
http://electrohaze.com/duo They were some of the first webapges I ever learned to make, and it was a labor of love...
Even when I started selling off my entire PCE collection in 2008 I promised I would fix and so something with the pages... but I moved to Japan in 2010 and naturally lost interest in updating a website featuring a collection I no longer owned. I then forgot it was even online....
I more or less left the page for dead for nearly, what 10 years? In a half broken state... What an awful webmaster!
Anyway... every now and then someone tracks me down about something on my page(s).
A few years ago it was the Valis pages.
Just a few days ago it was about the "Ys Special Edition" I made.
http://electrohaze.com/electrohaze.com/duo/ysse.shtml The link for the ISO had been broken... I fixed it right away.
Now after all this time I am all excited to fix my broken pages, and add new content for some reason.
Maybe it's just nice to be remembered? As my pages were one of the few extensive PCE pages online at the time... 1998-2000~
But, what can I bring to the PCE community these days? Surely there are many fully featured pages that provide content beyond my 10 year old forgotten pages right? In those old days, everything made on my page was made by myself. every image was captured or scanned by me.. I didn't use google images to find images find my content...
Truth be told, I never really learned much about web design past the year 2003.
If I updated my pages, I would do so keeping them as they were... stuck in the old year 2000 look, just fix what is left to fix. and add new content the best I can...
What do you guys think?
FYI, I already started the process... feel free to poke around and tell me what's still broken. I am aware top looks all messed up and the message board is a dead link. (I don't maintain one anymore.. maybe I'll link to a different one)
Thinking of making a 2016 DJ remix audio remaster of the Ys Special Edition.
Who would be into that?
Talking much high quality audio tracks (if I can find the lossless versions of the originals)
Feeling nostalgic!
