Where's the cheapest place to get a Duo-R?

I have a turboduo, but I've heard there not very relieable and want to get a duo-R  I've had my turboduo since it first came out, but had it stored away for years.  I thought I would play some real games I've had and some burned one too :wink:  I'm afraid of wearing it out. I've read that the duo-r's are a little better on that fact.

Wheres the cheapest place to get one?

www.shoppingmalljapan.com will let you buy stuff from Yahoo Japan. They take credit cards directly.

Duo Rs are no more reliable that original Duos. There is a sound problem with original Duos, but I've played the crap out of mine and never experienced the problem. All Duos have the same CDROM, so that's going to be the same reliability-wise. The Duo R is cooler looking, but honestly doesn't feel as quality when you're holding it. Its lighter from the fact that almost all the shielding is missing from the inside.

Buy a Duo R because they are cool, or as a spare, but don't expect it to outlast an original Duo.

The best place for a cheap Duo-R are not always ebay or YHJ. You always have to worry about the jerk sellers, overpriced shipping costs, and service fees (if buying from YHJ). It's better to scout forums such as this place. If your patient enough someone eventually will post a low cost Duo-R for sale.
