I bought Vasteel brand new during the TG16's commercial life. The double case is simply to hold the bulky manual that the game comes with, nothing more. There was no bonus disc. The guys here are just toying with ya. 
It also came with a fold-out map.
I was just about to say the same thing. I have this rather large fold out map of the planets that came in the back section of the case.
