Has anyone sucessfully done a TurboGrafx to jamma mod
« on: February 29, 2016, 09:32:05 AM »
I searched a little and saw someone had worked on this a few years back. I also have seen on a few occasions the ones that were here in the US, but still can't find any that somebody has taken the time to do.

I would love to make one for a jamma cabinet. I am thinking this with an everdrive would be very cool.

Anyone have info or attempted to do this and successful? It appears something like this has never taken hold for lack of interest.

Its been done by different folks in different countries in different eras. It's easy, but I fail to see the point.

It's "whalers on the moon" style cultural/nostalgia misappropriation. You can't make the Turbo more totally radical and 80s by putting it in a giant box, you just make it less convinient.

We probably all like blondes or brunettes but occasionally you need the batshit crazy redhead for a change of pace.

What you are talking about is someone who didn't like being redheaded, lasered all of their own hair off, tried to replace it with blonde hair plugs but ordered "albino" by mistake.

That's ok. As long as it couldn't outrun me, I'd hit it
