When you'll have a super CD capable system, you'll HAVE to play Nexzr.

Best vertical of the system.

Sheesh, no love for the Shubis here.  DQ, Black Tiger likes to give verbose break-downs about the things he dislikes, and yes the game is simple, but it's also...what, $15?  Maybe it sucked when you had to pay $50-$60, when it was new, but I'd say it definitely provides $15 worth of fun.  I've enjoyed playing it, though not as much as Shubibinman 2 (which, ironically, is the more glitchy, unpolished game between the two).  It's a moot point since apparently you can't play it without a Super System Card, but it's definitely not worth turning your nose up at to such a degree.

I only elaborated because someone asked. Unfortunately, it's one of the first games to be suggested when someone new to PC Engine asks, "what are the very best CD games?" It's not expensive, but neither are many of the 100+ better PCE games. I only recommend it to people who narrow down their tastes to wanting a side scrolling action/platformer type game, but even Dynastic Hero fits the bill better.
