The thing is...it ISN'T different. It's the same f*cking retro know-it-all video we've seen a million times, it just has a puppet on camera. If you close your eyes...see? Same thing. It's not as terrible as some. It has decent audio, no long pauses that could easily be edited out, and at least he's not talking about Dracula X and Sapphire. But man...it's *so* done at this point. Having your own YT show about games is like learning how to play Stairway to Heaven for guitar. Everyone's doing it so one person's minutely different presentation or barely superior performance won't count for much and it gets more annoying every time some new guy learns how to do it.
Maybe some of you are blessed for not knowing there there are now 125,000 TV shows about video games but probably only four of them are actually good. Four is my guess, I've honestly never seen one that was worth regular viewing. If I didn't know about all those other shows, this would probably seem cooler. I've always loved the Muppets and the socially awkward dorks that want to be a part of it so bad they make their own. I'd just rather he talked about skateboarding or vintage daguerreotypes or how to throw a boomerang like you MEAN it.
I mean, see this guy? I f*cking LOVE this guy:
I could watch this guy for days. None of this "In 1990 the 16-bit wars were heating up" and some dude explaining who Miyamoto is.
