Now that's a fair price for the whole bundle. The charger is on the slow side with a charging current of 0.3 Amps for AA-batteries (mine is capable of 2 Amps for up to two AA cells, or 1 Amp for 3-4 AA cells), but at least it has proper delta cutoff circuitry instead of simple low-end trickle charging technology.
I once tried ready-to-use rechargeables by EneReady, because they were so much cheaper than Eneloop. Turned out they were also so much more junk, two cells (from a total of four) went bad within half a year. I got what I paid for.
