Stray Road
« on: May 30, 2016, 04:24:06 PM »
I'm on my phone and can't get a good look at the pictures. This is supposed to be an unreleased PC Engine game, but from what I could make out, it looks like Linda3.

Huh, interesting.  So I guess the real name of the one on the right is Blunders.

I have that flyer and can scan it later this week.  Too bad neither came out.  I was into cyberpunk stuff back in the day and was interested in that Blunders game.  Seems like both games had a decent amount of work put into them.  I wonder how close they got to finishing them?

That's not LindaCubed.

It sort of almost looks similar, but, then again, a bunch of PCE RPGs look like that in battle..

I have this game. It was shoved in a case of sealed copies of Tricky Kick.

Yarr, they look nice.  I kinda hope they were mostly just mockups, though, rather than nigh complete games that got binned.  :|

Hey guys, finally got a chance to scan that flyer.

Better late than never I suppose.   #-o

Interesting note, the woman is Sugimoto Aya who was a singer back in the day.  She supposedly was going to write and sing the theme song to Stray Road.  Now she's a kind of a sex symbol and has starred in adult films.  Just a heads up since you are likely to get some NSFW stuff if you Google her.

Enjoy!
