Man Joe.... Your Sack must be legendary. Or she's using this as a ruse to get to Bob Cornhole.

So if it's a joke, can you just... identify what the funny/joke part of it is? Putting a smiley after it doesn't make you unsay the sentiment. It is not much of a joke!

I think you're getting pretty worked up into a lot of name calling over a request to just like... not make the kind of offhand glib comment that would be uncomfortable for 50% of the world's population. I think it's a pretty reasonable request!

Whether or not something you found it humorous doesn't change the fact that it was said in jest.  Get over yourself.

I can't tell anyone what to do. but being generally nice to most people doesn't feel like a difficult ask to me.

by your statistic, then the other 50% find it comfortable.

oh, that's not what my statistic says - is your assertion that 50% of the population enjoys making others uncomfortable? that doesn't seem right to me.

I can't tell anyone what to do.

It's not effective, obviously, but you certainly are telling me (repeatedly) to "stop being mean".

And guess how many f*cks I give about your opinion.  I'll give you a hint: it's less than one.

1- the userbase of PCEFX.com (a site which only show posts to registered users and isn't indexed by google) isn't 50% of the population
2- 50% is not a correct percentage for woman/men ratio
3- you're implying that ALL women would feel uncomfortable with a dumb joke which isn't true.
4- licorice is real bad

Don't even waste your time arguing with these troglodytes.

Obviously, we know you had good intentions, but since douchebaggery is kool and trendy (one need look no further than Trump), douchebaggery is what you shall receive.

Now, for the record, a smiley face/emoticon after a "rude" statement is a signal to the reader, from the author, that they are not 100% serious.

So, this needless drama stems from a misunderstanding.

RECAP:
(1) misunderstanding
(2) douchebaggery
(3) repeat
