Ha! Yeah, that's not going to happen. I've been a member here for a long-ass time and I remember perhaps three people here in all that while who I believed to actually be female and I don't think it has anything to do with speach habits of the knuckle dragging troglodytes that haunt the place. Another forum we both go to is exhaustingly pro-feminine and has about the same percentage of ladies.

I'm not saying this kind of juvenile chauvinism isn't gross. It bothers me, sure, but if I cared I'd complain on behalf of myself, not some mythical female. There isn't much point in catering the forum away from the people who are actually here for the benefit of someone who isn't.

Half these guys just stopped calling everything "gay" about six months ago. Cut them some slack. Also, we are way ahead of the curve on the "Jap" thing. Even Brits say "JP" here.

As for the original topic...I thought he was a drawing from a fake comic book/real magazine ad. Were there TV ads or something? Either way, if he's a real dude and someone tied to that era I'd interview him that day. I don't know WTF your problem is.

There is a road near my home that used to be called Jap Lane and a just a few years ago the town got all politically correct and changed the name.

I get why people don't like the usage of 'jap' here but for me it is nonsense. We tend to use it as a 3-char abbreviation of "Japan", and not as a term for japanese people. Of course we could also use 'JPN' but I don't think it's that big of an issue since the intended meaning is 100% clear. Very different from writing 'gook', 'kike' or whatever other derogatory word edgy internet kids use nowadays.

No see women aren't smart enough to understand when someone is just being sarcastic, even if you tell them to their face, so we need to sanitize everything for their sake.
