You're voting for which is better for every console variation/expansion and game ever released in CD-Rom format for either the PC Engine/TurboGrafx or Mega Drive/Genesis.

Inspired by below new Happy Console Gamer video he just uploaded and because I like versus polls.  :P

PS this is just for fun, try not to be a dick.

I can't see any poll...

But I'll be back later!

UPDATE: Obviously, if we are voting on THE WHOLE CABOODLE, then TG-CD/DUO wins, hands down.

For ever and ever.

Amen.

Sega had some good cd games, but I feel they tried to stick with FMV too long.  NEC on the other hand, seemed to understand sooner where the real power of cd enhanced games could take the gaming experience and then came out with some truly incredible games.

So we're supposed to weigh the hardware of the CD-ROM a particular amount, combined with the libraries?

I don't think that technical superiority on any level is enough to tip the balance of the massive and high quality library of Turbo/PCE CD games.

Most people tend to agree in Sega forums too, so you won't find any kind of radical bias here, at least in favor of Turbo/PCE. There are still too many people here and in other forums who don't have a clue what was actually released for Sega/Mega-CD and insist that it's mostly/all "fmv crap".

I gave the nod to NEC.  Developers made better use of the platform.  Had the Sega CD received the same level of support it would have been top dog.

Please.  Only the most hardcore Sega fanboy would say anything other than PCE. I love the Sega CD but they did so little with it and not for very long.

As someone who has had their Sega CD since launch I still think TurboGrafx CD wins this.

As stated by others, Turbo CD was used in a better way...none of that FMV mess.

pce-cd just on size of library and number of worthwhile games. Sega CD has its fair share of great games though, and is definitely a worthwhile console. 32x on the other hand......

There is really no contest. I had both during their "Glory days." I kept waiting for Sega to figure out what their CD attachment was for. Except for a few gems, total disappointment. When my Sega CD died, I dumped the games. I had no interest to seek out another Sega CD attachment.

But the Turbo totally got it right. Love my Turbo Duo.

Turbo and PCE CD games do have fmv and only a small percentage of the Sega/Mega-CD library can be considered "fmv games".

I am sorry, but this is my old desktop:

THIS is the sole reason for SEGA-CD superiority.

You forget that Sherlock Holmes came out on the Turbo CD FIRST, or do you believe Sega's lies?
