« on: July 21, 2016, 01:27:32 PM »
Looking for the following...

Soldier blade and dead moon sparky labels.  If I can't find these I will eventually just buy a set of them.

Dead moon manual

Welcome aboard.

Doubt you'll find any of those games here.

Good luck.

Does this forum have a lot of clout on other forums or on social media as being a place where lots of games are waiting to be sold?

We have all the games bro. We just choose a select few to trade/sell to. DUH! I went over all of this in the memo.

Switchzx's amazing quote -
"I was starting with the hardest to get games first. I realized I was never going to get Magical Chase so gave up on it all, sold up and got out."

Blueraven's quote - "it begins."

Quite the opposite.  I was told by multiple people to expect an immediate outpouring of rude responses but I like to form my own opinions based on my own experiences.  Plus it never hurts to ask.

I should also add that I have a copy of neutopia with case and manual for trade if that is of any use to anyone.

Thanks.

There is actually another thread a new member started with Lots of trade bait and stuff for sale. To lazy to look it up. But he has something like 39 doubles. Probably find some of what you want there.

So if you expected a bad reaction, why make this thread as your first post? Why not try to actually become part of the community first?

I recommend getting a region switch installed to gain access to Japanese hus, or better yet, getting a Japanese system with a region switch (since you presumably already have some US hus) so you can use all the better controllers without an adapter. There is also the added bonus of not having to stare at the ugly US base system. <3 PCE form factor.

One thing I will always fight folks on...the NA TG-16 hardware is not ugly. The Genesis/MegaDrive especially with a cart in...is just a goofy looking thing (a giant wart). Even the ugly SNES looks better (a first-aid kit for preschoolers).

The NA TG-16 suffers from being a *curiously  elongated* (that's a fancy way of saying "stretched") version of the PCE we cherish.

FIGHT ME ESTY!!!  [-X

I will agree though, a Genesis with a cart in it, looks very "meh".

Personally I love the ascetics of a model one Genesis especially when you slide a model one sega cd under neath it

The SNES. Personally. I am a super famicom lover. The design is more pleasing then the boxy NA one.

As for the TG-16. I like there PCE more. Simply because it is so compact and uniform looking. The NA TG-16 seems excessively over done with the design.

This is an interesting topic...
I love the looks of older consoles.  I think most electronics from the 80s and 90s had a lot of character.  They are like teens going through puberty- very awkward and trying to find themselves...

For the snes I like the design of the mini though I will say the feel is a bit on the cheap side.  I like the stand alone model 2 Genesis however I will admit that the model 1 with Sega cd attached is a very good look.  As for the tg16 I agree that the pcengine looks sleeker but it doesn't bother me too much.

Like I mentioned.  I think they all have their own character.
