I seldom see this game talked about on PCEFX. Shame, as it is one of the most intense shooters on the system, though the difficulty is a bit low, especially with double lazers.

Plenty of people here have played Side Arms, so you'll be happy to know it has the same powerup system.

The first half of the game is pretty standard, but a well done port of Capcom's classic. The second half is an amazing though kinda short expansion featuring all new levels, graphics and music by Naxat.

It's a fun one to play two player, especially if one or both of you isn't very skilled at shewties and can use the unlimited continues.  It's rather bland looking and sounding though.

The first half is, the extra stages are where the cool people hang out.

I enjoy the entire 194X series.

I think a major chunk of the *total* money I ever spent in arcades went to Capcom (and I am *not* a SFII fan, it was for their other games)!

On the PCE and SGX, we have a total of three 194X games, I believe...one is slow and sluggish.

The other two are nice.

I thought there was only 1943 Kai and 1941 on the PCE?

Yeah, I think my brain was malfunctioning.

I love the SGX game...that's great.

Kai is the sad one.

Kai would have been so great if it had been only Kai.

The cheat code is too tedious.

Word.  I usually skip to the second half when I play.
