What's new in your Turbo collection recently?
« on: September 25, 2016, 03:30:20 PM »
Hi there.  I have had a drought recently with picking up anything for Turbografx, or any system for that matter.  I still get joy out of hearing that others are expanding their libraries.  What is new to you recently?

Well, I don't own a demo CD, but I recently played the awesome PC Henshin Engine and died on the Pumpkin Spice Girl boss.

It's a fantastic game. Google "PC Henshin Engine" for the awesome.

I just landed Michael Jackson's Moonwalker. I keep it with the collection of mine behind the false wall, in the sub-basement sex dungeon.

Fixed.

I don't have too much new but my newest controller will be my last for a long long time. Got a 3 button PC Engine Blaster controller, became my favorite very quickly over the other various pads.

Drac X Hu-card version is the tits.  Smoother animation on the cart however the music takes a little hit.  Still cool though.

I heard that one uses real parallax, instead of the fake parallax used by the Super CD.

You are correct.  I hate fake parallax.

I picked up Turbo Stick recently which is missing the 2 slider button at the top, for $10 bucks you can't go wrong.
Looking for TG16 games I don't have already.

After only picking up the odd 2-3 games for the turbo back in college, I got back into it. Over the past month, ive managed to find in case copies of Vigilante, Keith courage and Galaga 90. I also found a card only copy of Dragon's curse. So far, Dragon's curse feels like the best version of the dragon's trap and I love the branching paths in Galaga 90.

My sweet Everdrive.
I'm thinking I may opt for an ever drive so I can also check out some pce games without having to buy them individually.
