Got my SS stuff ordered.  Gotta say though, prices are going up every year I do shopping.  This might be my last year.  My recipient will have a nice obeymass though.

SS has made me hate ebay - I never use it and I think I got hosed on not understanding combined shipping + best offers SOPs... I just hope everything gets here in time, I ordered it just now but it's on its way from hit-japan standard shipping

Hitjapan? I feel for your wallet. Shipping should automatically combine though, even when making offers and having them accepted. Been awhile since I've ordered multiple imports from one seller on Ebay though.

The order I placed was marked as shipped on the 6th, but no tracking. Figured this would happen since I ordered off Amazon marketplace, but I was able to get two games for the price just one of them would have been on Ebay. Should be complete too, since they are disc based.

Ordered for   the same eBay store.

Doe. Business with them before. At times I try and low ball and they accept most of the time he only shaves off $3-5 dollars.

In my search for my SS stuff I found ebay to be the exact same or even cheaper than places like suruga-ya, yahoo japan auctions, or even amazon.  When you figure in the double shipping costs and fees it was actually even more expensive since the prices were the same as ebay.

They gave me a estimated delivery date of nov 27th - dec 6th, so if all goes well I will have time to wrap and add local goodies to the box before sending. This is getting exciting, I hope it all works out :)

Do people generally add their name on the inside of the package? Just wondering if that is OK, or if we are never suppose to know who got it for us.

I feel it is up to the individual. If you want your member to know then I'd say go for it.

I don't put my name inside, but the return address makes it pretty obvious.

Thanks for the suggestion, that's what I'll do.

Be on the lookout for clues :)

I'm just going to tell the user after they get it, since I had it ship straight from the Japanese seller to them.

or ask Necro to ask the giftee if he got it. That way your secret identity is safe.
