Here:

Not sure how accurate it is, but there you go.

That list is very incomplete, but I don't have time to make one myself.

Are there any HuCard translations not listed? There are some CD games here:

http://www.romhacking.net/?page=translations&genre=&platform=5&status=&languageid=12&perpage=20&title=&author=&transsearch=Go

I can see a couple are missing, like Startling Odyssey II. I think work on Snatcher was started but didn't get very far, IIRC.

There's also Legend of Xanadu and LoXII and Emerald Dragon is being started again by NightWolve in the future.

Cyber Knight is pretty far along.

A bunch of work was done for Cosmic Fantasy.

Dead of the Brain I & II has the text translated into French and shubibinman has expressed interest in getting it translated into English.

Hisou Kihei XSERD and Out Live are in the works as well, so those are 2 more patches that will likely drop this year. There will possibly more PC-Engine translations in the foreseeable future, considering that people are slowly starting to rediscover the system, and SFC translation craze is seemingly waning.

Yeah what ever happened to that CF 1 translation? I remember gawking at clips on YouTube a few years ago and it looked like quite a bit was done, but the guy hasn't seemed to respond to anything it seems like.

I personally did the translation for Aoi Blink and Super Daisenryaku which you can find here
http://www.romhacking.net/community/57/

However this was over 10 years ago. The romhacking I did was very basic (no pointers or anything, just had to fit everything within the existing space).

Since then, I've stopped romhacking and forgot how to do it, but my Japanese has improved significantly since I moved to Japan. Maybe some time early next year if I complete all my real world projects, I might attempt a translation. but I'd prefer to do the translation and let some one else do the romhacking.

It's actually a prequel to an SMD game called Vixen 357. I remember reading somewhere that XSERD is more highly regarded in Japan though. Anyhow, the more translated PC-Engine games, the better. :)

I did the font routine for the system and add ascii byte support. But I actually left in the SJIS system, so the game print routine could actually display both (just in case there was missed hardcoded SJIS in the game - you could trace it back if you knew what it looked like). I don't think Dave (the translator) is working on it anymore. He was translating it town by town. I have to dig through my back ups, but I had planned to release the patch for the new print routine in case anyone else wanted to take on the project.

Hey, thanks for the info on Vixen 357... I am curious about the popularity of Vixen 357 and XSERD...

Just played through the translation of Energy that came out today (available at ROMHacking.net and at the link MNKyDeth posted above). It translates the game and also fixes several of its most glaring issues, and that makes a huge difference -- it turns into a flawed but quirky little game I enjoyed enough to spend a couple hours beating.

EDIT: Aw, shucks, I totally missed this thread. Carry on, then...
