Cheers Download is a pretty easy game with a little practice. I wish they made it a bit harder it's a bit on the ersy side tbh, it's such a cool game though that could have been so much more.

Dude! This popped up on my TubeYou feed this morning! I watched it (and I rarely watch playthroughs)!

That pause (loading time) was nothing to worry about...it could have been loading up a cinema, or just taking a bit longer to access a track (this happens to me routinely).

I want that controller/joystick you rigged up. I want that!

Also: I tend to use charge shot all the time...but I noticed you used autofire...interesting...I never thought of handling certain areas by just blasting away.

Heya thanks yeah I was nearly ready to give up on it loading, thought it had crashed for sure :/ Yeah I don't like using the standard pads thb, I don't find them very precise for shooters, I much prefer using Sanwa joysticks they're so much comfortable. Even though I padhacked a CoreGrafx pad I can still use it as a normal controller if I ever change my mind..

are you using an emulator for those newer playthroughs, the ones that aren't taken with a video camera?

[edit] oops, I see you're doing it on real hardware. can you tell me your capture setup? I've been looking for a good solution for PCE and Saturn capture.

Heya. Nah, they’re all done on real hardware. I’m using this USB capture for the newer replays. It’s cheap and nasty but it gets the job done. It’s pretty handy playing on the IFU, I play it through RGB Scart and capture it with the composite on the IFU. Unfortunately it only captures @30fps and a maximum resolution of 480i, it’s good for the money though

Whoops, I missed your note about the capture card - well, it sure looks better than what I can do with my elgato. unfortunately I have to capture from a laptop, so no cards for me!

also... good lord, how many times did you have to play this all the way through to clear the cave stage in Ninja Spirit?

That damn ninja pit!!!!! That took me quite a while back in the day to get past that part. Yeah, I don't even want to know what it's like in the arcade version. Very nice on the clear!

After many frustrating sessions with the NINJA PIT, I stumbled upon the secret of that stage (it was an act of desperation).
