The newest Negativeland album ships with a portion of a recently deceased member's cremated remains.

Kinda ruined LEs for me, nowhere left to go.

Did you get one of these?  Heard the story on NPR and wanted it just cause it is so ridiculous, but the guy wasn't big enough so his ashes sold out too quickly...

I did not. My way of listening to this band is as random and chaotic as they are. I own nothing! I just dig in when I get a chance. My favorite release is The ABCs of Anarchism with Chumbawamba and Chomsky.

We should all list our copies for $1 less than his asking price, with free shipping. And copy his auction word for word, even use his picture.

I thought about something like that, but it would inly create the perception among hardcore collectors that it is the real value. Especially if one is foolish enough to buy it at that price.

Aetherbyte having an eBay listing at a reasonable price is the only way to prevent gouging.
