Vid.me a new challenger to Youtube
« on: December 13, 2016, 12:48:00 PM »
I've been hearing a lot lately from Youtubers that Youtube has changed all the rules and search algorithms, plus has bugs with randomly unsubscribing people. Consequently some Youtube content creators are now looking to find an alternative and looks like vid.me could be a contender, haven't checked it out much yet, just was looking around it for the first time, saw GameSack are on there https://vid.me/GameSack.

I don't know anything about it really and didn't hear anything about it until this guy mentioned it:

A fairly popular Youtubber who directly tells you to install Adblock saying there is no reason to ever watch ads is a nice change of pace from being constantly begged to click on ads for shit I'll never buy to support people instead of just paying for the content.

So one can more likely avoid copyright strikes here, and what other pros over YouTube ?

AvE is gold. I got one of his ruler kits and assembled it to give it to my brother for Christmas. Skookum as frigg.

They tried to make me do a recap
I said no, no, no

It's true, he's great. I hope he represents the future of online video stuff in some way. That is, people who a) know what they are talking about and b) are only selling the work they are doing instead of shilling mattresses and stamps and audiobooks they don't give one f*ck about.
