That's also what I meant. NHL Hockey wasn't fully licensed with real teams and players until '94.

I want a game where a fishmen civilization can nuke their dinosaur neighbors, am I asking too much? :(

I just want a fishermen civilization that can nuke the full roster of the New Jersey Devils (1993), am I asking too much? :(

LA KINGS.

LOOK AT THE POOR TG-16 on the floor of the locker room! Very precarious.

And ya'll wonder why I love TV Sports Hockey - NOT THE WORST GAME.

Go Kings Go!

Blake was a beast, not surprising to hear he dominated the session. :)

Played Syd Mead’s Terraforming for the first time the other day.  Was really disappointed.  The title makes it sound like it was going to be sort of like a Civilization type of game or Sim Earth.  And Sim Earth is just really bad.

You must get disappointed by games a lot.

Salamander, Steam Hearts, Darius, Side Arms, Sapphire, Burning Angels, Psycho Chaser, Twinbee, Cotton, Soldier Blade, Rock On... are there any games without misleading titles?

Not really.  But for some reason with this game when I seen the title I was thinking a Sid Meier's Civilization type game.

I know you're not knocking the gameplay, so maybe you just briefly played it emulated. Or were at a buddies house and tried it out or something

Syd is their given name, they aren't related and it's not a sim term/title. :P

Aside from the screenshots on the case of both versions, Terraforming is exactly the kind of thing you should expect from Syd Mead. ;)

If anything, Civilization should be horribly disappointing that it's not Snatcher or Rise of the Dragon.

I have nothing against the gameplay.  Lords of Thunder is one of my favorites.  It just wasn't what I was expecting.

And here I thought I was going to witness a brave soul call out Syd Mead's Terraforming for being an average-at-best shooter.

Them pretty backgrounds can only cover up those same 6 enemy wave formations repeated a million times for so long.

HAHhhHahahahahaa!!!

Whatever you do, don't waste your time with Syd of Valis. You won't like it.

It's not often I just outright call somewhere here a complete idiot but...
